What To Make With A Fathers Day SVG?

There are so many options of wonderful gifts, t-shirts and cards to make with your Cricut (or Silhouette). If you are new to Cricut or don’t own one yet, you can find out all about Cricut cutting machines by clicking here

My favorite thing to make are Fathers Day shirts using HTV or Cricut Infusible Ink. You can also make funny signs for Dad and craft awesome Fathers Day cards that he’ll never forget. This is a sign I did a few years back, and it was a real hit! You can see the Man Cave SVG here.

Funny Fathers Day Shirts

This year we are doing a funny Star Wars themed shirt for my hubby, (we are big Star Wars fans!) If you aren’t familiar, it is a play on words of possibly the most iconic line in all the Star Wars movies. When Darth Vader tells Luke Skywalker he is his father…” Luke, I am your Father.” (You can get this free Fathers Day SVG file by filling in the form at the bottom of the page)

World’s Number 1 Farter I Mean Father” is very popular. (Because we all know Dad’s are the Kings of farting) It is a saying that can be used for T-shirts, mugs, wooden signs or as a funny Fathers Day card.

Custom T-shirts are great gifts because they are inexpensive to make. With t-shirts you can make something that is super relevant to the recipient, whether your Dad, husband or Grandpa.

Choosing A Fathers Day SVG Design

Choosing a t-shirt design is great fun and should reflect the recipients sense of humor, likes and personality. These make long lasting, much enjoyed, personal gifts for your special Dad or Grandpa on Fathers Day.

If you’re stuck for idea’s, have a look at the Dad’s and Grandpa’s section for inspiration.

Making A Fathers Day Shirt

Once you’ve bought the shirt and chosen your design, upload the SVG file to your Cricut or other cutting machine and get cutting. When the machine has finished cutting, weed the design and then use an Easypress heat press to apply it to the shirt. It’s super easy to do and such fun.

The absolute best part is the look on his face when he opens the gift wrap and sees the shirt!
